Curbside Pickup Appointments
Available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 PM until 5:30 PM.
CONTACT STAFF – Staff will be available BY PHONE from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
PROCESS – Place items on hold using the online Delaware Catalog or by calling us at 302-422-9418. When your hold becomes available, the library will contact you via text, email or phone call, with pickup instructions. Please DO NOT make a curbside appointment before the library contacts you that your hold is available. When you get a notification from the library that your hold is available for pickup click CURBSIDE PICKUP. A calendar will open. Click on Go To Date and choose your date and time. Continue to enter your information and click to finish. You will receive an email confirmation that your time is confirmed. Come to the Washington Street entrance and park in the curbside number you chose. Your books will be put on the wall in front of your curbside parking slot. Please exit your car and take your bag.
ASSISTANCE – There will also be spaces provided in the parking lot for assistance should you need help in selecting items. Pull into the designated spot in the Washington St parking lot and call the number on the sign.
RETURNS – You may place your return items in the Washington Street book drop during your visit. All transit and returned items will be sterilized before being checked in to insure patron and staff health and safety.
