Centennial Transformation Project

Founded in 1882, the Milford Public Library has served the community for nearly 150 years. After closing due to funding challenges, the library reopened in its current iteration in 1927. In 2027, Milford Public Library will celebrate its 100th anniversary. The Centennial Transformation Project aligns with this milestone, positioning the library to enter its second century as a safe, modern, flexible, and sustainable cornerstone of the community’s infrastructure.

The Centennial Transformation Project includes a full HVAC system replacement, upgraded electrical systems, interior space reconfiguration, new bathrooms, and renovated finishes throughout the library. We appreciate your support and patience as the library begins this project.
