The Milford Public Library opened in 1927. As we prepare to celebrate our 100th anniversary, the Centennial Transformation Project will prepare the Milford Public Library to enter its second century as a safe, modern, flexible, and sustainable cornerstone of the Milford community.
For generations, MPL has been more than a place to find a book. Today we provide access to technology, educational and cultural programming, food distribution, navigation of social services, and workforce development support.
But our building has not kept pace with the needs of the community we serve. Aging infrastructure, outdated systems, and inflexible spaces limit what MPL can accomplish. As a trusted community partner, we strive to remove the barriers that prevent our neighbors from learning, working, and thriving.
Your support will help create a library designed not just to celebrate our first 100 years, but to serve Milford for the next 100 years.
