YA Blue Hen Books

The Blue Hen Book Award is a children’s choice award sponsored by the Youth Services Division of the Delaware Library Association. The award encourages literacy and library use by children and teens. Each year teens and children will have the opportunity to vote on selected books published in the last year.  The book that receives the most votes in each category will win the Blue Hen Book Award.

Votes are due by October 31, 2023 this year. Before you vote, it is recommended that you read at least 3 of the 5 books.
